Development and Combaining of Technology
In the modern era of today, the phone company is no longer just offer phone and cable TV providers not to perform. These days they offer a combination of Internet, television and telephony services.
As with so many new developments
“There are advantages and disadvantages to combining these three services. Let us look closer we get the benefits of a combination of telephony, Internet and television, but also disadvantages.
Telephony
The combination of the three services means that you receive them all digitally, instead of the old analog situation, where every service separately. For your phone service means that you will be done through a system called Voice over IP (VoIP). The direct benefits are low cost phone, VoIP phone because the phone is in fact the Internet and other direct benefits of better quality than it sounds crisp and clear. Digital Phone does not reduce sound quality and signal are not sensitive to disturbance, unlike analog telephone. On the other hand, with an analog connection, a bad relationship at times, with terrible voice, making it difficult to interview, but you at least one connection. With digital phones, you also have a perfect reception or no connection at all. There is no middle ground.
TV
Digital television provides a clearer signal, so the HD broadcast possible, and leave other services, such as Pause Live functionality and Video on Demand (VoD). The disadvantage is that it is done through an Internet connection, such as digital phones, and like the analog phone, you can sometimes have a bad reception with an analog cable connection, at least you see the broadcast. Digital TV, digital phone or as a perfect relationship, or none at all.
Internet
Cable that your Internet service, offering a faster connection speeds are often high. The disadvantage is that the cable is what we the media to convene, and Broadband Internet via the phone line (DSL) is a special media. This means that the same cable you get through your internet connection, every customer in your area is also connected, and share the available speed, so at the time of your connection can be very slow, for lightning fast at another time. The combination of three
The combination of Internet, television and telephony, has many advantages such as high speed Internet, a better quality of television reception, and cheaper phone calls, but other than losses as mentioned above, there are two major weaknesses which can not be considered:
If the Internet connection fails, do all other services. Although the separate services, one can go down, the others keep working, if your Internet connection fails, there is no more than one phone and no TV anymore.
Where the jurisdiction of the phone may fail. Analog telephony does not require power, and a simple phone will still work here when the power is out. It is therefore recommended that even if you decide to switch to digital phone, at least one analog ground work to keep in an emergency.
